Winning designs impress at Geneva Motor Show

If you’ve ventured down to the Geneva Motor Show recently, you may have seen some familiar dresses on the Chevrolet models.  The hostesses on the Chevrolet stand were wearing the dress created by 2009 Young Creative Chevrolet European fashion winner, Erica Fuschini, student of the Istituto Carlo Secoli fashion school in Bologna, Italy. Erica’s dress was chosen by the jury for its elegant and contemporary design and received special recognition at the show by Switzerland’s Blick newspaper. In an article covering the outfits worn by the models at the show, Erica’s dress received the highest possible rating of six stars.

Also, the model on the Chevrolet Volt stand sported a futuristic outfit, the 2009 Hungarian winner. It was designed by Szandra Hofstadter, Adél Kovács and Anett Hajdú , three students from the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts in Budapest, Hungary. Although the dress did not make into the European top three for reasons of large-scale production costs, it was a perfect fit for Chevrolet's advanced-technology extended-range electric vehicle.
