Prepare to be wowed

Even as the national YCC 2011 winners are still being announced and celebrated in the record-high 22 participating YCC countries, the contest is moving into the next phase. The fabulous winning works can now (or shortly) be viewed online. Take special note of the first-place projects, because they will be advancing to the European jury deliberations, beginning this weekend in Porto, Portugal.
European jury gearing up
As with the national YCC 2011 juries, the European YCC 2011 jury is made up of big names in the arts and creative industries, along with senior Chevrolet officers who are arguably as excited about YCC as the winners. Beginning this Friday in Porto, during a Chevrolet WTCC race weekend, the European YCC 2011 jury will be faced with the most competitive deliberations to date.
In alphabetical order, here are the nine members of the European YCC 2011 jury:

- Marc Kempe, Director, Public Relations, Chevrolet Europe
- Jeff Perkins, Director of Design UK Advanced Studio, Chevrolet

- Sven Schäferkord, Managing Director OCEAN artist&brand GmbH (Sony)
- Tiberio Timperi, Presenter and Journalist, RAI
- Igor Todorovic, Editor-in-chief, Fashion TV SEE
- Kerstin Zu Pan, Professional Photographer
